Chinese-chic opera-face toothbrush embroidery + extra-long tassel and long-beard garment embroidery

This embroidered piece combines toothbrush embroidery with tassel embroidery: the main face mask is worked in toothbrush embroidery to create an upright pile surface, with the brows, eyes, opera beard and patterns clearly layered and strongly three-dimensional; along the lower edge of the mask, a tassel baseline is stitched and the loops are cut, extending into an extra-long fringe to create a draping effect reminiscent of an opera beard. The pile surface and the long beard balance firmness and softness, and the motif takes on different expressions when still and when moving.

Optional techniques: the pile height and colour scheme of the mask can be adjusted according to the artwork; the higher the pile, the stronger the three-dimensional effect; the long beard can be extra-long and flowing, or shortened to a short beard that outlines the contour; thread options include rayon, polyester or cotton; the base fabric can be changed to cotton-linen, wool-like fabric or heavy fabric to suit different garments.

Applications: suitable for decoration on China-chic jackets, sweatshirts, performance costumes, opera-themed cultural products and display items, as well as accents on bags, hanging flags and stage props. Opera, totem and Eastern-symbol themes are widely used in China-chic and cultural gifts.

Customisation process: pattern development from artwork is supported.
