3D Rose in Toothbrush Embroidery with Heat-Press Pile Setting | Flocking Embroidery

The rose is built in three dimensions with toothbrush (flocking) embroidery — thread stands upright on the fabric into pile columns, the petals showing crisp, individual pile, with the centre set higher than the outer edge so the flower rises in the middle and settles slightly at the rim. A later pass through the heat press sets the pile, so the columns lie in one direction and the shape stays crisp. From a distance it reads as a full 3D rose; close up it is individual pile.

Optional techniques: single-colour or three-plus-colour layered gradients; different pile heights for petals and leaves; edge finishing and adhesive backing (heat-press or hook-and-loop) for patch versions; colours matched to your colour card, with common shades such as red, rose, pink and champagne gold all available for sampling.
