10mm Long-Pile High-Pile Toothbrush Embroidery Cartoon Bear

This cartoon bear is built entirely from toothbrush embroidery in raised pile columns, giving a dense, plush surface that feels like a short-pile plush toy. The ears, nose and eyes are formed from pile blocks in different colours, with the outline stitched in a dark thread for clean edges and minimal stray fibres. This piece is worked at roughly 10 mm long-pile high pile — standard toothbrush embroidery pile height runs 1.0–10.0 mm, with 2.0–3.5 mm used most often, and at the upper limit the pile surface becomes fuller and more voluminous. The hand feel is soft and resilient, and the pile resists shedding after washing.

Optional techniques: The bear's colourway can be adjusted to your artwork; add a merrowed edge to make it a standalone embroidered patch, or add a heat-seal backing for a heat-transfer appliqué. Pile height can be selected anywhere from 1.0–10.0 mm as needed, with high pile available for a fuller look. The design can also be combined with flat embroidery and appliqué to render facial details more crisply.
