One Team, One Heart: Dobest Team-Building Trip to Qiangu Stream and Qinglong Gorge, Qingyuan

Whirring machines, reels of embroidery thread, stacks of sample sheets… day to day, most of the Dobest team is busy between workstations and production lines. To let everyone breathe after an intense production rhythm — and to get to know each other again among the hills and water — the company organised a team-building trip themed “One Team, One Heart”, to Qiangu Stream and Qinglong Gorge in Qingyuan.

Arriving at Qiangu Stream and Qinglong Gorge, we were met by layered rock formations and waterfalls tumbling down. With green hills as the backdrop and a river below, nerves that had been wound tight at the embroidery machines slowly loosened to the sound of running water. Some hurried to take group photos, some studied the rocks underfoot, and most were simply restored by all that green.

Waterfall exploration and eco-rafting: entrusting your back to a teammate

The highlight was the waterfall exploration and eco-rafting. Gear on, calls agreed, everyone watching each other, one run down the river taught more than cool water and adrenaline — it taught the solid feeling of handing your back to a teammate. As the raft spun in the rapids, the rhythm of the paddles, the shouts of warning and the hands reaching out were a genuine rehearsal in teamwork.

Flags and slogans: what Dobest looks like

On the mountain steps, the team lined up with their flags for a group photo. “Integrity”, “Uprightness”, “Dedication”, “Customer Service” — these flags are exactly the plain principles Dobest has applied to embroidery processing over the years: keep faith with customers, be exacting about quality, and take responsibility for every stitch. The smiles in that line-up are the same reassurance we deliver to customers every day.

A single trip cannot make the work less complex, but it can change how we feel about it. Back at the Humen factory, Dobest is still the same familiar team: 30+ specialised embroidery machines, a complete process range from toothbrush embroidery to chenille embroidery, sampling in 24–48 hours and bulk lead times of 5–10 working days — translating the trust and rapport built among the hills into every sample sheet and every finished piece.
