page views: A single thread and one embroidery machine finally become the dimensional, piled piece in a customer's hands — but what happens in between? This time we simply set up the camera inside the workshop and take you on a “cloud factory tour” of Dongguan Dobest Industrial Co., Ltd. (Dobest) and its 3,000㎡ computerised embroidery factory in Humen, Dongguan.
What the video shows is the production line and the processes we run every day. If you prefer reading, here is the factory's “inventory”, point by point.
Founded in 2013, Dobest focuses on computerised embroidery processing and production. The plant covers about 3,000㎡ and is equipped with 30+ specialised embroidery machines plus laser cutters, cutting machines, heat presses and pile-shearing machines, giving an annual capacity of around 1.5 million pieces. The benefit of scale is direct: more reliable lead times, better consistency across bulk orders and room to slot rush orders into the schedule.

Over the years we have concentrated our effort on the techniques that make the biggest difference: toothbrush embroidery (also called vertical-line, flocked or lawn embroidery) — upright pile columns with a full, resilient surface, soft to the touch and resistant to shedding; chenille embroidery (loop-pile, moss or tufted embroidery) — a continuous loop structure, plump with a warm handle, ideal for varsity lettering and kidswear; and backing-free embroidery, our 2026 focus — no paper backing, no adhesive film and no water-soluble film, so stretch fabrics can be embroidered directly, which suits garment work and quick-response orders especially well.
Beyond these we also take on flat, sequin, puff, appliqué, cord and ribbon, laser-cut and hollow, beaded and 3D embroidery, and complex designs can combine several techniques.

Whether an embroidered piece is good depends half on the machine and half on the thread. We commonly use Coats and Sakura yarns and also offer recycled eco-friendly yarn options. On the toothbrush embroidery line our internal defect rate is kept below 1% — the result of repeated calibration of the machines, the tension and the placement of every stitch.
Our standard MOQ is 300 pieces; up to 3 simple samples are free, complex samples are charged and the fee is deductible against the order once the 300-piece MOQ is reached. Sampling usually takes 24–48 hours, and 3–4 working days for complex or combined techniques; bulk lead times are normally 5–10 working days (subject to production scheduling), with rush orders scheduled first. Send us artwork, a physical sample or even a concept sketch — we turn the design into a production-ready embroidery plan.

If you are nearby, you are welcome to visit the factory, check samples and talk through options at any time. We can meet customers on site in Dongguan, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Zhongshan, Foshan (including Shunde), Huizhou and Jiangmen; in Guangzhou city and its surroundings (Haizhu, Liwan, Tianhe, Baiyun, Huangpu, Panyu, Huadu, Nansha, Conghua, Zengcheng) and in Dongguan itself (Humen, Houjie, Chang'an, Dalang, Changping, Dalingshan, Shipai, Chashan, Tangxia, Liaobu, Dongcheng, Nancheng, Wanjiang and other towns), we can usually arrive within half a day.
Founded in 2013, Dobest holds two utility-model patents (CN222896500U, a reusable self-adhesive 3D soft fabric label, and CN222780179U, a 3D calligraphic artwork), has been rated an A-class taxpayer for four consecutive years from 2021 to 2024, has held import and export credentials since November 2020, and is a general VAT taxpayer able to issue 13% special VAT invoices.
We have previously provided embroidery processing services to brands such as COACH, Givenchy, adidas, MK, Tory Burch, Anta and Yishion, and have taken part in projects for Armani, AAPE, Cabbeen, CK, FILA and Giordano through customer OEM arrangements (the above describes past service experience only and does not represent a current customer relationship or any form of endorsement).
